God has no problem with slavery

God gets very angry over certain ‘sins’: noncircumcision, trimming hair or beard, adorning body, eating certain foods (pork), prostitution, homosexuality … but slavery is fine. God even sets up rules to cover slavery in Ex 21 & Lev 25. He says that a man’s slaves are his money (Ex 21:21), and gives permission for a man to sell his own children or buy an impoverished brother to be a servant. Jesus states, “Servants, obey your masters.” Col 3:22.

  1. Doubting Thomas, why is it that just about the only people who read and fully understand the Bible are, invariably, agnostics and atheists? Not really requesting an answer, just posing the question.
